Due to the passage of the Flexibility Act, a modification to your original PPP loan documentation is necessary to comply with the new terms outlined in the Act. The Act extended the deferral of payments until the end of the covered period plus 10 months or completion of the forgiveness process, whichever occurs first. If your loan was processed prior to June 5, 2020, your initial deferral period was only for six months, necessitating the issuance of an amendment to your current note.

You can rest assured that this is a legitimate request from Sonabank regarding your PPP Loan. We ask that when you receive this email, you click the "Access Documents" button and walk through the steps as instructed to review and sign the document. Once you click on the link, it will bring you to a website for EpicRiver. This is the portal used by ProSign, and although confusing, it is safe to proceed.
